Warehouse Lighting Control
The new Laminex Distribution Centre is a two building facility on O’Rourke Drive, Penrose.
The two-level office has customer services room, showroom, design studio, and two café’s on level one and offices including an open plan area on level two.
The warehouse building with entry from Rockridge Avenue has bulk store, two-level despatch office and inwards office. External works include 112 parks and courtyard for the office and 38 carparks and five motorbike parks for the warehouse.
Intelligent Environments Limited were requested to undertake the warehouse lighting control for the 12,348m2 building.
Daylight harvesting was required from the warehouse lighting control system and was provided via programs specifically developed for the project by Intelligent Environments. In addition, photocells provide control of canopy lights, and security lighting is scheduled for easy control.
